In the Autumn of 2005 John Tobin and Keith Birch both of Dalrymple Associates were nominated for the prestigious 'Building on Quality Awards 2005'.  Mr Tobin for his work on the Villa Marina re-development and Keith Birch for the new Auldyn Primary School in Ramsey.

This was the first time clerks of works from the Isle of Man have reached the final stages of a national competition and their achievement is recognition of their individual contribution to the standard of work produced on Manx building projects.

John Tobin MICW was the overall Winner in the Refurbishment Category for his work on the Villa Marina, Douglas, Isle of Man.
